Mycoplasmosis and chlamydia

Let's take mycoplasmosis, which is quite common in Russia. It seems to be sexually transmitted. Yes and no.

Because it can be transmitted only when the dog's immune system is working too hard. It may be some kind of temporary malfunction, there may be some kind of disease, but a dog can only get mycoplasmosis if at one time or another her immune system was working too actively.

The treatment of mycoplasmosis is actually quite simple.

The disease is determined only in a laboratory way. When this disease is found, the dog is treated for 14 days with the antibiotic Marbocil (the active substance marbofloxacin) and any immunomodulators and immunostimulants are prohibited for use. Any other antibiotics, even the third-generation fluorochilanol groups, are completely useless in the case of mycoplasmosis. If the treatment is carried out in this way, then this is absolutely not a terrible disease

Below are the symptoms and some diagnoses that are characteristic of cytoparasites, according to the main organs and systems of the animal body. This does not mean that all arthritis, otitis media or all types of cough are caused only by mycoplasmas and chlamydia, but those who are warned are armed. I bring only colors, but you need to see their combination to reveal the picture of the disease.

Therefore, special attention should be paid to the totality of pathologies of several systems or organs, for example: PSYCHE - lethargy, the animal has become less active (for a long time) + EYES - purulent conjunctivitis + RESPIRATORY SYSTEM - rhinitis = mycoplasmosis complicated by chlamydia.

This information is compiled on the basis of my diagnostic and clinical experience, when treatment aimed at the formation of immunity against mycoplasmosis and chlamydia brought the desired results.

Symptoms of MYCOPLASMOSIS:

mentality: Lethargy. Apathy. Adynamia. Constantly follows the owner. According to the owners, it becomes more affectionate. The desire to be held in his arms. Petulance. Drowsiness. Drawn to warmth, pronounced chilliness.

EYE SYMPTOMS: Constantly flowing. The tear is from watery to oily, from light to brownish. In the corner of the eyes (especially in the morning, accumulated overnight), brown crusts form, which, drying out, crunch and crumble if rubbed with fingers. The formation of a pigmented brown track from the corner of the eyes up to the corner of the upper and lower lips. Conjunctiva from red to crimson. Follicular conjunctivitis.

AURICLES: Serous, combined with chlamydia purulent otitis media. The auricles are quickly covered with brownish daub. Hypersecretion.

RESPIRATORY SYSTEM: Rhinitis, almost always accompanied by symptoms of watery eyes. Sneezing is frequent. Sneezing is paroxysmal. Liquid discharge from the nose. Sneezes and splashes with liquid exudate. Formation of a brown crust around the wings of the nose. In the developed stage – nasal wheezing, snuffling. Asthma. Asthmatic syndrome (suffocates when inhaling). Paroxysmal cough several times a day. Symptoms of eyes + nose + cough. Stretching the neck, as if he wants to inhale through his nose and cannot. Chronic bronchitis. Pneumonia.

CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM: All cases of cough with suspected involvement of the cardiovascular system. All identified cardiac pathologies, if at least two of the systems listed in this section are involved with the corresponding signs. For example: eyes + nose + revealed cardiac pathology.

Gastrointestinal tract: Chronic gastroenteritis accompanied by diarrhea. Frequent vomiting. Diarrhea in kittens and puppies + most often lack of temperature.

GENITOURINARY SYSTEM: Balanoposthitis. Infertility problems. Vaginal discharge when ovariohysterectomy is not indicated.

MUSCULOSKELETAL SYSTEM: Arthritis, Arthrosis. Polyarthritis.

SKIN: Itching. Skin combs. Wet eczema. Extensive weeping eczema. Atopic dermatitis (only in combination with chlamydia). Most types of chronic allergies.

Symptoms of CHLAMYDIA:

mentality: Aggressiveness. Increased irritability. Sometimes hyperactivity. Grouchiness. Stubborn expression of discontent. . Starts scratching, biting, and even biting (which was not the case before). A bad character is manifested. Anxiety, whining in a dream. Appetite may be unhealthily increased, but a decrease in appetite is also observed. Note: it is not necessary to link the disease to the traits of the animal's character, conclusions about the animal's condition should be made according to the totality of headings, and not by one or two symptoms.

EYE SYMPTOMS: Blepharitis. Viscous, viscous, jelly-like discharge. Purulent discharge. Dark, viscous discharge. Thickening and compaction of the eyelids. Purulent conjunctivitis. Formation of exudate around the eyes (according to the office of the eyelids).

AURICLES: Purulent otitis media.

RESPIRATORY SYSTEM: Purulent discharge from the nose. The nasal mirror is covered with a dry crust, cracks. Sneezing. Nasal wheezing. Prolonged bronchopneumonia. In most cases, these organs are affected by mycoplasmosis, but chlamydia often complicates the course of the disease. It is difficult to single out a separate symptomatology.

Gastrointestinal tract: Stomach ulcer, duodenal ulcer. Constipation.

CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM: Increased blood pressure.

GENITOURINARY SYSTEM: Endometritis. Prostatitis. Urethral stricture. Most inflammatory processes of the genitourinary system.

MUSCULOSKELETAL SYSTEM : Arthritis. Arthrosis. Polyarthritis.

SKIN: Pyoderma. Interdigital pyoderma. Purulent processes on the skin. Itching and scratching of the skin, accompanied by its dryness. Dandruff. Unbearable itching, no visible changes on the skin. Furunculosis.
